Mitcham Baptist Church [MBC] was planted to be a witness to the kingdom of God in South London and beyond.

We desire to be used by God to help people experience God, walk with God and serve God. We rely on the impartation God’s grace, hope, faith and love in our lives to be and become a healthy church which is focused on fulfilling God’s purposes in our generation.

Mitcham Baptist Church is a member of the London Baptist Association and the Baptist Union of Great Britain. We support the missionary work of the Baptist Missionary Society [BMS World Mission].

The purpose of Mitcham Baptist Church is reflected in our Scripture text and church motto.

Our Scripture Text is: Daniel 11:32.

"The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits."
